A walk to Battersea Power Station

I do so love to walk everywhere here. So much to see. My goal today the power station. Last year the outside had been finished but it wasn't open. Now it is.
A new picture on the side wall of Southwark Bridge.
This was very sobering. So many lives lost. The ongoing effects of lockdown and all that went with it will always be remembered.
Such a pretty bridge.Lambeth Bridge.
a different part of the river.
Something to do with the water - Maritime
the tide is out!
This end of town has towering blocks of units. Not all pretty.
and more!
You can see Battersea from here!
The rowers were out.
and so was the tide!
all sorts here. Not sure what the horse is doing there.
and still more units
And then I arrived. Not before being diverted to go around yet more units being built before I got there. It's such a gigantic building but it's fast being dwarfed by huge apartment buildings right up close to it. A shame.
the main entrance.
It was a stunning sight inside. All dressed up for Christmas. So very, very big. High end stores too. A huge Uniqlo among others.
This was a QR code eating area. 13 restaurants use the same app for food and drink ordering. Pretty impressive. Efficient too.
my lunch with a glass of cider.
it was delicious. So good I had 2 serves. So easy when you don't have to queue.
A huge skating rink on the river side and a great queue waiting to skate.
Going to bus stop I spotted this building. So much more interesting.

And in the background can you spot the Shard?
