Woodside Eaves

We caught the train to Loughborough and then a taxi to Woodside Eaves. A small village. Pollys mother and stepfather have bought a house there- our accommodation while we were there. They haven't moved out of their old house yet. There were 17 people in all scattered around the area.

This house has been renovated. Originally 2 semidetached but now joined.  modern extension at the back - very Australian. Bifold doors. Big kitchen, living area. They came over to welcome us as we got there after 8pm
Parker in his room with this amazing stuff. K-nex. Michael built a huge ferris wheel.
Yoki practicing solitaire. Parker showed her the trick - she can get down to 1 in the middle.
We went for a lovely walk the next day to Beacon Hill. Very windy but typical English countryside.

This was a shelter. Of course there was a little rain. At one stage I got blown backwards.
The family arrived in dribs and drabs. 15 of them! Quite a crowd.

Mountains of food then pudding!

Lots of talk and catch up.
The next morning we all went for another walk with 2 dogs. Another part of the same hill I think.
