Bologna Day 5

Rather a late start to the day. I didn't sleep well and watched 4 episodes of Six Feet Under which I found in US Netflix.
I did have ministrone soup in a box (at 8.30)I found at the supermarket - with edamame beans no less! Then went back to bed. I got up at 12!
And off I went. I found another blog about the canals which absolutely fascinate me.

I found a blog that took me to 2 other sites as well and to the outskirts of town - uphill. I'm the end I walked over 12kms

i thought this might have been one of the mild but think it might be a church.
I'm still trying to find out what am the celebrations are for!

maybe units. It looked private so didn't go up.
as you can see I was slightly besotted
It's the marvels of engineering - my passion
This is now a movie theatre. But it's also part of the canal system somehow.  It used to be a cigarette factory.
I'm not sure what this is but I'm finding out. It has steps that go down but where to?
the first playground I have seen.
this was going up the hill to find part of the canal that I didn't find but think there's a tour. I'll check it out.
My restaurant last night
i had pork cheek with mash send vegetables as a side dish. It was beautiful.
