Bologna Day 4
I had a late start today. Not a bad thing because Italians don't do early. Firstly I wandered.
Then I went to the Anatomical Theatre. What an amazing place. The knew such a lot. The library was full of original books covering all the sciences.
now this is a weighing machine for the bread. Each type of bread had a number which is punched in and out cubes a sticker with the price on it!! Unusual I thought.
at the university later I saw another! No idea what it was so about. Couldn't find anything on Google.
this used to be a canal. I'm finding out more! They were artificial and were used for power for water wheels, spinning mills and tanneries. They were built in the 12C. There are 3 so I will find the other 2. I have a website.
After that I found a place for coffee and a Portugese tart as my free one shut!

It's a collection of beautiful buildings and was buzzing with students.
Nice stuff along the way.
