Bologna Day 3

I'm answered the phone and lost everything! So now to start again. ☹️☹️ It was published!! How does that happen?
my destination today.
But 1st my free breakfast.
coffee and a brioche
Then a 2nd breakfast because I thought I needed some protein.
i picked this place because of the music. Franco Battiato. The waiter was lovely and we chatted about music.
no one was around at this hour of the day! It was 9am when I started out!
i loved this little car. I'd that what they call it?
or is it a scooter with a lid?
yes! There's a definite lean on that tower!
and now beautiful porticos. I love the clock.
and this building is still a puzzle.
there are no subways here so not sure what this is.
the markets were setting up as I walked home.
i think there's a puppet show on somewhere. I have a leaflet so will find it.
such beautiful produce.
i think this was a fun run.
Sand then I started my walk.
the grand entrance before the real entrance
that's the real one.
there are shops, pubs and hotels at the beginning.
and dogs!
and more trees
and grander houses
and the start of the slope
funny that there's steps down at the beginning. That's too trick you!
a 3 step incline
a bike trading training hill. I think there's a race here every year.
those are 6 step inclines added to the general slope.
Am I conveying the steepness of it? It's 300m up.
and then there's more!
and then there's the 7 step inclines
And there's bends as well and bits that are getting repaired.
as if! I am staggered by what people will do in the name of religion.
i had a sit down and watched the prime and the dogs and the kids then it was down to the bottom and home via the supermarket.
didn't like these bits much. Very steep slope at each end that feels slippery.
and down we go!
oh and there's these along the way
a stadium
and more bikes
nearly back to the beginning. A lovely table setting.
and food.
another portico
this church was massive
i think that's a body up there!
dinner last night! A lovely place where the waiter let me taste the Prosecco. I had pasta in broth. Hard to find veg and soup. Still looking.
I figured you day that all in all I walked 17.14kms yesterday. That was before dinner.
The walk to the Basilica was 15.51kms.
and o forgot this picture which to be like like the Great Wall of China.
