Mykonos and the beach

A beautiful town. We had a short tour of the city then we were free to spend time. But of course the cruise ships are in. I think 5 this time.
Sunrise - I take a coffee onto the back deck every morning. So peaceful and pretty and warm.
of course we always spend time at the beach in the morning. This time Rinia Island. A beautiful beach but lots of boats as it's pretty protected. Noisy Americans with loud music! The water was beautiful though. I walked up a hill but stopped when I got near the top - brown dirt and I had seen a snake!
look closely!

the ships!
these used to be warehouses but now upmarket housing!
we can see our boat from here. Came over in the tender
the posh houses from the beach
fascinating windmills for grinding grain

a cocktail so that we could carry on! Our classy waitress!
we just meandered around laneways. Got lost but used Google maps to find out way to the waterfront. Thank goodness for internet cover.
I thought this couple were pretty funky. We couldn't work out how old they were but he was short when walking!
just so many lovely spaces. There was Louis Vuitton and Gucci so you get the gist of Mykonos! Lots of money!
We had street food for dinner. I have never seen a line move faster. Leaves MacDonalds for dead. I paid for my food and it was ready by the time I got to the end of the counter.
Souvlaki with pita and chips!!
A picture from the net!
i was fascinated.
our beds are folded down and we're have a towel folded every day. I thought this was a koala but not did said now!
