Aegina

We were to stay at Mykonos for another night but a storm was brewing so the Captain changed the plan and we headed to Aegina. I think most people were happy to go to a less crowded island.
We woke to an overcast day and lots of wind but it got better and ended up a warm sunny day. Apparently the weather went to Athens.
We sucked at the Ages Marina.
As it's out last day I packed. Some went to the beach but it was so blowy I didn't think it with going.
12.30 out busy you us to the other side of the island to the port town.
It was very pretty. Lots of yachts moored. This place is famous for its pistachios. We saw many trees on our w very windy bus trip. Lots of ruins but can't remember what!
We got to taste many pistachio treats. Toffee, spread, liqueur. All good. We had a fish lunch and then wandered along the lanes. This place was much less touristy. A treat. A hardware shop, second hand clothing, antiques and if course clothes and jewellery.
a beautiful sunrise this morning
view it the marina
the town from high
not sure what these were
lots of laneways - all pretty
lots of restaurants on the waterfront but many cars and scooters so lots of fumes unfortunately. But lovely drinks and ice-cream.
